What Do You Fear? | The Lord is With You, Pastor Yumiko (12.14.2025)

In this Advent sermon, we read the story of Mary, the mother of Jesus. We often imagine Mary as brave, obedient, or fearless. But Luke shows us someone confused, disturbed, and unsure — who still steps into God’s story with clarity and courage.  Placed side-by-side with Zechariah’s story, Mary’s call becomes a window into God’s Kingdom: a Kingdom where grace breaks boundaries, finds people in surprising places, and meets us exactly as we are.
